Grand Canyon University is the largest for-profit Christian university in the world. Approximately 20,000 students attend the university on campus and more than 70,000 are online.
Though the university was originally established by the Southern Baptist Convention, the university broke its affiliation with the Baptist church in 2000. It is currently owned by Significant Education.
The university has nine colleges that offer bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in business, education, fine arts, humanities, social sciences, nursing and healthcare professions, theology, engineering and technology.
